Bear market be damned, three of the ICON DApps we’ve covered recently are making big moves, announcing token swaps, major partnerships and pre-sale plans. Here’s the latest ICON DApp news:
weBloc
Perhaps ICON’s most successful DApp to date, weBloc just announced that the first stage of their pre-swap from ICX to WOK (weBloc tokens) will take place from November 12 to 21.
We all know how token swaps go, right? To facilitate the process, weBloc recently shared a six-step guide on their Medium account, where they also reminded their supporters to complete the KYC registration.
weBloc have been especially active in the ecosystem, co-hosting events like the October ICON demo day. They also participated in the Korea Blockchain Expo 2018 and the Seoul International Digital Festival, where CEO Joon Hong explained how they aim to transform an online advertising industry.

MECA Coin
You may remember our reporting on MECA Coin, the virtual Vegas you never have to leave. After parting with early partner Me2On and now in its private sale, MECA Coin has inked two new partnerships with casino game developers 4 Ones Pokera and WASSapp. Now they’re working to sign partnerships with sports betting platforms.
We’re also happy to report that they’ve moved into a swank new office befitting a blockchain-based casino. But execs aren’t relaxing in the lap of luxury, instead hitting the road to participate in Consensus Singapore, SF Blockchain Week, Blockchain Seoul 2018 and SIDiF.
Last night #MECACoin had an openhouse party in Seoul. Thank everyone who attended the party. It was perfect time to share insight on #blockchain and our business. #meetup #cryptocurrency #ICO #ICON pic.twitter.com/uSeBrZrF0u
