Peer-to-peer sports betting DApp ZenSports is on the move. After securing licensing and launching in-game betting just a few weeks ago, the ICON DApp is marking another important milestone; this time with a partnership with Skrill, a leading digital wallet provider and part of Paysafe Group (Paysafe). This will give users the added flexibility of transacting with e-money and fiat currencies within the app.
Regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, the Skrill digital wallet supports over 40 fiat currencies and 18 languages, which complements ZenSports’ broad international focus. This means players can enjoy the security of uploading or withdrawing funds in a fiat currency of their choosing, in addition to transacting with cryptocurrencies and receiving payments on winning wagers in real-time.
“One of the things that we’re most excited about regarding our partnership with Paysafe is the benefit we’ll receive from Skrill’s well-established presence in the global sports-betting space and its long-standing payments partnerships with leading online sportsbooks. Skrill’s popularity among sports bettors worldwide will allow the digital wallet to support our marketing and promotional efforts in its target markets,” says Mark Thomas, ZenSports CEO.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill, NETELLER and Income Access at Paysafe, added:
“We’re excited to partner with ZenSports to diversify the brand’s payments offering. The concept of peer-to-peer sports-betting is highly innovative, and we’re confident that ZenSports will enjoy strong growth with the support of our Skrill digital wallet and our long heritage in the sports-betting space.”
