As ICONLOOP’s Minhwan Kim points out in a tweet, ICONLOOP’s Broof continues to expand its user base.
Broof is a blockchain-based certificate issuance service that offers institutions, companies and individuals an effective way to combat potential degree — or certificate — forgery.
The Korean-language business daily Hankyung reports that the Web App Convergence Blockchain Business Development Course recently came to a successful conclusion.
The course, directed at students undergoing job training at the Hankyung.com IT Education Center, is part of a wider program by Seoul Metropolitan Government to expand the city’s base for job creation.
The three-month program trains students in all things blockchain, from understanding the basic technology to programming services, developing for public and private blockchains and progressing projects.
During the final five days of the program, students undergo practical training at ICONLOOP, where they receive mentoring and get a feel for life at a real blockchain company.
At the end of the program, students receive a completion certificate issued by Broof.
Also recently coming to a successful conclusion was the Postech Blockchain CEO Course.
Korean-language blockchain news website Blockchain Today reports that ICONLOOP hosted the completion ceremony for the program’s second batch of students on Dec. 5.
The ceremony was attended by many high-ranking officials from Postech, one of Korea’s top universities of science and technology, including university president Kim Moo-hwan.
The course aims to cultivate business executives to lead the blockchain sector. It tries to improve the business management of projects based on a technical understanding of blockchain.
Students spend three months learning blockchain technology and theory and practice and undergoing business training. And at the end of the program, students received certificates issued by Broof.
“More and more institutes and companies that have experienced and confirmed the reliability and convenience of blockchain certificates are inquiring about Broof,” Kim told The Iconist. “ICONLOOP will continue to realize a convenient, transparent and trustworthy blockchain society through blockchain services such as Broof and MyID.”
