Earlier this week, MECA Coin, an online casino DApp built on the ICON blockchain network, announced on their blog that they had secured an online gambling license, “following a detailed due diligence process investigating the fairness of the platform and credibility of its operators.” By adhering to such licensing rules, MECA Coin is protecting users against fraud, thereby ensuring that no criminal activity occurs, and that age-related and other social protections are imposed.

This coincides with earlier news of funding from B Cryptos, Japan’s first crypto fund that has funded several blockchain-based projects and DApps. Crypto Meca, the team behind MECA Coin, said on Crypto Gambling News that this could “provide strong momentum for the public sale”, which is now live.

MECA Coin is currently working on releasing its mini-gambling service, MECABet, as well as MECA Sports slated for Q2 and its integrated MECA Casino (including MECA City) in Q4.

MECA Coin’s Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) in collaboration with the LATOKEN exchange is set to end on April 24th, 2019.
