The Brief #2: ICONLOOP’s focus on my-ID and more

There’s a lot going on for ICONLOOP these days. 

Just today, they announced raising KRW 10 billion (USD ~$8M) in Series A funding. ICONLOOP CEO Jonghyup Kim was also in attendance twice during Korea Blockchain Week, most notably at BlockFesta 2019, where he introduced the possibility of recovering data sovereignty through my-ID, as well as at the 2019 Smart Seoul Conference, where he explained ICONLOOP’s involvement in developing smart cities.
